This week, I explore what it means to truly show up for others. You'll discover that being present isn't about perfection—it's about having the courage to get in the water with those who matter to us.

If this newsletter was forwarded to you, stick around, you might find what you've been looking for.

Hi Friends,

We are the average of the five people we spend the most time connecting with. Stop and let that sink in.

Who are these five people in your life? More importantly, how do they show up when you need them most? As a(n):

  • Cheerleader in moments of doubt
  • Safe space when everything falls apart
  • Guide through uncertain waters
  • Mentor who challenges your growth
  • Inspiration when you're stuck

Now flip the lens: How do you show up for them?

When crisis hits, do you rush to fix their problems? Or do you pause and then, ask them what they need?

Since the pandemic, we've all had to face hard truths about our friendships. Yes, people grow apart. Yes, priorities shift. Relationships end.

But getting older has taught me something crucial: These connections aren't just nice to have—they're survival gear for a future none of us can navigate alone.

I hope you enjoy all of the articles, essays, and resources I've included in this week's newsletter. Let me know what you think.

↓ NEW ARTWORK

My creative collaboration with genAI continues to surprise and delight me. Each of these images was unexpected.

By remixing older pieces, modifying settings, and reworking prompts, I discovered that AI, like friendship, thrives in the space between intention and serendipity—where control meets curiosity.

The magic happens when you release your grip on specifics and remain open to the possibilities that emerge through collaboration.
